"Archeology is all about tragedy and chance."
The TKTV Cultural Heritage Solutions Team preserves history with several new cutting edge technologies and processes we designed specifically for museums, historical sites, archeology sites, and private art collections.
Photogrammetry Digital Assets
One of our prime art & artifact digital asset preservation methods is using state of the art photogrammetry combined with the
TKTV Artifact Team museum process to ensure your treasures can be viewed forever.
Once the images load, use your mouse or fingers to move the 3D Digital Asset around. This is really cool, have fun!
Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs, especially for recovering the exact positions of surface points. Photogrammetry is as old as modern photography, dating to the mid-19th century and in the simplest example, the distance between two points that lie on a plane parallel to the photographic image plane, can be determined by measuring their distance on the image, if the scale(s) of the image is known.
For the purposes of creating a 3D image, photogrammetry is used to find anomalies on multiple photographs as a common point used as a refernce to stitch them all together and create the images you see here.
Photogrammetric analysis may be applied to one photograph, or may use high-speed photography and remote sensing to detect, measure and record complex 2D and 3D motion fields by feeding measurements and imagery analysis into computational models in an attempt to successively estimate, with increasing accuracy, the actual, 3-D relative motions.
The TKTV Artifact Team works with museums and private art collections to preserve artifacts with the
latest digital technologies including photogrammetry, LiDAR, UAV drone UHD video, and more.
